The highlight is Lauren Miller! Black Belt Academy student Lauren Miller was awarded a blue star. Blue stars are awarded to our students for a special contribution to the community. Lauren raised money to show support of the US Coast Guard Tahoma crew for their efforts in the aftermath of the Haiti earthuake! She sent a banner and goodies to the crew. Thank you to all her fellow black belt community for donating to her efforts! She sent just over $50 of goodies to the crew! Below is her filling the shipping box and working on the banner! Congratulations on a job well done and being a great role model Lauren. - Master Low

2009 Black Belt Academy Dunkirk Tae Kwon Do Tournament Winners!
The Black Belt Academy Dunkirk studio recently participated in the 2009 annual Southern Maryland inner school tournament at Patuxent High School in Calvert County. Students from the studios of Dunkirk, Prince Frederick, Waldorf and Wildewood, participated in three different Tae Kwon Do competition events. The three events include forms, board breaking and sparring. Congratulations to all the students for their hard work and effort. Thanks to all the parents for the support they have provided to the students. Master Low is proud to announce the following championship results:
